Alrighty, who's going to be at the Boston reading?

My mind is going nuts here. It's so bad. All I can think about is, "Wednesday... Wednesday...." Wednesday evening will be the proof that my life is AWESOME right now. Wednesday night, Saskia and I leave for city out of which we will be flying! And Thursday we will be in New York! Ohhh mannnn. Life is crazy amazing right now.

(Some of my composure is lost, though, over this stagehand strike, over the loss of Spring Awakening for this trip, but but but. I have to get over it. Gosh Amy. Gosh!! At least maybe you can experience this. Um.)

I think tonight I'll start packing.

Haha. Um. I should go now. o_o

Ohhh, and I finally got my clothesies for the party. Wheeeeee.

TWO DAYS! EEE! This feels absolutely incredible. I cannot wait! Two tiny itty days, or less even! Yes, more like a day and some time till OUR BOOK hits the shelves!

EEE! This is the best.

ALSO, anyone going to New York? Anyone doing anything there? I arrive Wednesday evening, and I'm open to many RED adventures around town.

We could stalk visit and aid the WGA strikers!

This is too exciting.

So is anybody kind of really hoping that we get reviewed in Entertainment Weekly?

I adore EW, and would loooove to see our book in there :B (so long as it's getting a good review, of course! haha).

I also eventually plan to scan in the page of Vanity Fair that mentions Red. Once I get off my lazy butt.

Guess what, somehow somehow, came today!? MY ADVANCE COPY! How about you all? Did you? Ohmygawsh, I was just getting out of the shower, and my dad tells me to dry off because there is a surprise, one I think 'oh lovely, he discovered how to use the internet right', but NO. It is my RED COPY! All pretty and hardcover and Amy's introduction and my name in a book with a cover and a price tag and one that smells are nice and fresh!

I promise, promise promise to read all of your essays soon. I have already read el_em_en_oh_pee's and _effervescent's because I've known them the longest, but I can't wait to read them all.*

*To you both: fwesnofweomg. Your essay's are so WONDERFUL. Mine is so sad and blah compared to your combined awesomeness!

So Saskia came over to my house last night (well, she's still here, too) and we made some RED shirts! Along with a little Spring Awakening flair, because we're so stoked about seeing it when we go to NYC in November :B

t-shirt wonderfulnessCollapse )

More pictures in my gallery.

Anybody else going to make shirts or any other wearable items? :D

Hey guys, don't forget, song picks for the RED CD due in tomorrow!

On another note, so who is officially going to the NYC Release Party?!

I sure am! So exciting! I was actually REALLY surprised that I convinced my parents to let me go — but they can't change their minds now, mruahaha :B

How cool is this?!
So does anybody know what three songs they're choosing?

Haha, I've already e-mailed Amy G my list.

1) Song for the Death Eaters (Harry and the Potters)
2) Moi... Lolita (Alizée)
3) Je t'aime... moi non plus (Serge Gainsbourg)

What're yours? :)
